Komal Shah, Peter Copping and Barbara Brown at Saks Fifth Avenue San Francisco

Saks Fifth Avenue, Komal Shah and Barbara Brown hosted a lunch and welcome celebration for Peter Copping, the new creative director for Oscar de la Renta, at the Saks store in San Francisco on May 21, 2015. Lunch included a private viewing of Copping’s first ready-to-wear collection for Oscar de la Renta. The event served as a precursor for the annual Oscar de la Renta fashion show on August 1st in Lake Tahoe, a benefit for The League to Save Lake Tahoe.

On May 29th, Boaz Mazor, Oscar de la Renta’s sales director and friend for 45 years, presented Copping’s first collection to Cantor Arts Center‘s Rodin by Moonlight committee at Neiman Marcus in Palo Alto. Rodin by Moonlight co-chairs Michele Kirsch and Lisa Mooring announced Cynthia Fry Gunn and John A. Gunn as honorees for this year’s gala. Save the date — September 19th — not only a special evening but also a benefit event that enables Cantor Arts Center to remain admission free for everyone.
