Local artists, interior designers, architects and retailers created one-of-a-kind wreaths to benefit children living in San Francisco's homeless shelters this holiday season. Jingle & Mingle, Children of Shelters' annual designer wreath auction, attracted 500 merrymakers and bidders to the Presidio's Golden Gate Club on December 1, 2011. 40 designer wreaths brought in nearly $28,000; the highest bid was $1,700 for APG Metalworks and Sculpture's creation by Adam P. Gale.
