GLIDE Annual Holiday Jam: Love Overcomes raises over $2 million

Love Overcomes at GLIDE

GLIDE‘s Annual Holiday Jam served as a reminder that unconditional love can overcome violence, bigotry, racism, environmental disasters, divisiveness and so many more negative factors that affect our communities. The event included a heartfelt tribute to Amy Errett, outgoing chair of the board of trustees for 22 years.

The line-up at the Masonic in San Francisco on November 29, 2017, included performances by Judith Hill, Valerie Simpson, V. Bozeman, Butterscotch, Next Town Down, and the 100-voice GLIDE Ensemble and The Change Band. An appreciative audience helped raise over $2 million.

Funds raised will help GLIDE continue to provide vital programs and resources for San Francisco’s most in-need individuals and families. GLIDE’s daily free meals program “Mo’s Kitchen” serves some 750,000 free meals annually.
