My name is Cassie Anderson and I am interning this summer for Red Carpet Bay Area. Having grown up in both San Francisco and Marin, I knew that working for Red Carpet Bay Area would be the perfect fit. This fall, I will return to University of Arizona Honors College for my sophomore year. I love the desert and school spirit and I believe that U of A brings together groups of intelligent, motivated and diverse students to learn and discover more about themselves and their studies.
Growing up in Marin, it’s no surprise that I am extremely fond of outdoor activities. In my spare time, you can find me hiking up hidden trails near Mount Tamalpais or paddle boarding in the Bay. Also, I have two dogs that love to go on long walks with me down by the ocean. I am very fond of nutrition and baking, so I also spend a great deal of my time researching new healthy recipes that I can use in the kitchen. I’m currently working to create the perfect homemade protein bar.
I have recently taken countless social media courses that have sparked new discoveries about myself. Being lucky enough to have traveled around America and beyond, I found my passion in public relations, communications, and social networking. Coincidentally enough, I was offered the opportunity to intern for Marybeth La Motte. I am truly excited for what the future holds and to immerse myself into the workforce!
