Children of Shelters Designer Wreath Auction

Jingle & Mingle event co-chair Ken Fulk with Mary Beth Shimmon

Local artists, interior designers, architects, and retailers created one-of-a-kind wreaths to benefit children living in San Francisco’s homeless shelters this holiday season. Jingle & Mingle, Children of Shelters’ annual designer wreath auction, attracted 500 merrymakers and bidders to the Presidio’s Golden Gate Club on December 1, 2011. Forty designer wreaths brought in nearly $28,000. APG Metalworks and Sculpture’s creation by Adam P. Gale received the highest bid at $1,700.

Children of Shelters’ events Jingle & Mingle and SantaFest, an annual children’s party, raised over $230,000 this holiday season.
