The evening will begin with a cocktail reception and exclusive shopping opportunities for all attendees; vendors will donate 25 percent of sale proceeds to Edgewood. Then enjoy an elegant dinner, silent auction, keynote by author and inspirational speaker, Lauri Burns, and a lively evening program emceed by “The Foodie Chap”, Liam Mayclem.

Friday, April 7, 10:30 am – 3:30 pm – Fair Day Luncheon
A morning of exclusive shopping with retail vendors will be followed by the popular Edgewood Luncheon featuring this year’s Alumnae of Distinction Award recipient, Anne Magill, and program emceed by “The Foodie Chap”, Liam Mayclem. All retail vendors will donate 25 percent of sales to Edgewood.

A unique event that raises funds and awareness for Reading Partners’ one-on-one reading tutoring program that supports 2,700 students in 52 reading centers across the greater Bay Area. This year’s theme is “Literacy and Leaders in Innovation.” Spelling Bee guests enjoy a cocktail hour with an open bar and hors d’oeuvres followed by an onstage spelling competition between five teams—each composed of a leader of innovation and a corporate sponsor. All funds directly support Reading Partners’ one-on-one literacy intervention program in San Francisco, the East Bay, and Silicon Valley.

Founded in 2001, CoachArt uses the proven power of arts and athletics to spark students’ imagination and build confidence by providing long-term, no-cost arts and athletic opportunities for chronically ill children and their siblings. CoachArt works with about 500 volunteer coaches and community partners to provide 10,000 free lesson hours to 1,000 students annually.
