Bruno Mars performed at The Concert for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, the fifth annual benefit event of its kind presented by Salesforce.com Foundation, on October 14, 2014. The 18-time Grammy Award nominee and multi-Grammy winner took the stage at Civic Center Plaza, while CAKE, an alternative rock group, performed at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, during Salesforce’s annual Dreamforce gathering in San Francisco. Following the concert, Bay Area legend and internationally recognized artist MC Hammer and pop performer Will.i.am hosted an after-party for supporters at City Hall.
The evening marked the last major benefit event before three breakthrough hospitals – children’s, women’s specialty and cancer – open at San Francisco’s Mission Bay in February 2015.
