Actress Jane Seymour, Olympic Gold Medalist Brian Boitano and the world’s longest running Phantom of the Opera Franc D’Ambrosio brought their star power to a masquerade ball and benefit event for the National Domestic Violence Hotline‘s 20th anniversary. Some 200 supporters gathered at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District for A Masked Ball to Unmask Domestic Violence, on October 13, 2016. The event raised nearly $125,000 to help the Hotline answer more calls, chats and text messages. In 2015, almost 110,000 contacts to the Hotline went unanswered due to lack of resources.

Chaired by Elaine Mellis and honorary chair Arlene Inch, the evening featured a sumptuous dinner, live auction and a performance from Franc D’Ambrosio. Highlights from the auction included painting lessons and lunch with actress/artist Jane Seymour and a private concert from D’Ambrosio with dinner for ten prepared by Chef Larry Finn.
