Marybeth La Motte

Marybeth La Motte

Marybeth La Motte is the executive producer and host of Red Carpet Bay Area, a television show created by an Emmy Award winning team and broadcast on KRON4, as well as the founder of RedCarpetSF, a website.  Red Carpet Bay Area is a 30-minute lifestyle television program in a magazine-style format created by MBL Media Productions.  From events, fashion, beauty and art to unique homes, travel and philanthropy, Red Carpet Bay Area offers viewers front-row seats.

Red Carpet Bay Area, currently in its twelfth episode, reaches over 191,000 Bay Area households on television and another 55,000 viewers online each month, from a highly sought demographic. Not only is Red Carpet Bay Area celebrated for its excellence by the television community, but also for revolutionizing the television watching experience through innovative and personalized interactive technology based on applications for iPad, iPhone, and iTouch, from Mozaik Multimedia for both live and previously broadcast episodes.

Prior to launching MBL Media Productions, La Motte served as a director of internal communications, and was the founder of the Community Responsibility Program at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, LLP, a global law firm.  The program aimed Orrick’s worldwide pro bono legal services, financial gifts and volunteer efforts in the areas of legal services for the poor, access to education and the arts, with goals to impact its communities through a centralized, strategic approach.  La Motte produced videos about the firm, its partners and its communities, both in the United States and internationally, as well as directed live broadcasts for the CEO and chairman.

La Motte has led marketing, fundraising and public relations programs for nonprofit organizations including the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the American Red Cross and the Junior League of San Francisco.
